College Of Education Students Rant On Twitter, Dissapointed With Government’s Insensitivity

It is no longer news that the colleges of education has embarked on a nationwide strike On the 9th of October 2018.

The COEASU has further lamented on the Federal Government’s Myopia towards the colleges of education.

It was reported that the strike which started on the 9th of October was declared by the the Union’s National Executive Council (NEC) On November 15,2017 but was not implemented because the union was magnanimous with the government to address its needs.

Meanwhile, the students of Colleges of Education took to twitter to lament their disappointment with the governments myopia towards COEASU and the college of education students.

One of the students in question with the twitter handle @Midcyo Ranted his displeasure with the Government with his tweet which says, “Our twitter campaign continues today and I personally won’t stop until the FG responds we’ll disturb those that love being disturbed. We’ll correct the governments myopia towards COE…”

Another handle, @EmmaTallest said “is FGN aware COE lecturers are on strike? Are they aware some innocent soul’s future are at stake currently, are they only concerned with the 2019 poll, are we going to fold our arms and look…”

The Colleges of Education students trend their tweets with the hash tags #ReOpenCOE #ENDCOEASUSTRIKE, postulating the government to agree with the COEASU since they are not to be blamed.
